The Young Readers Department staff and volunteers will help the children create seasonal themed crafts for Pre-school to Grade 5.

Aimed at ages 6-24 months, but open to all ages, this half hour includes playtime, a lap sit session with songs and nursery rhymes and a story for our youngest patrons and their caregivers. No registration required.

Come to a special storytime for Babies and their Caregivers! This storytime is specifically for babies ages 6 months to 23 months and their caregivers.

Beginning readers can have fun and get valuable practice by reading aloud to a patient and gentle therapy dog. Co-sponsored by the library and the spcaLA, a pair of dog teams will visit the Peninsula Center Storytime Room every Monday from 3-4:30 p.m. Each reading session lasts 15 minutes, so space is limited.
